안영현 소천 Mrs. Young Hyun Ahn (Jane’s mom) passed away.

2020년 4월 23일에 79세를 일기로 주님 곁으로 가셨습니다. Mrs. 안 (한국명: 정영현, Jane Ahn의 어머니) 은 서울대 미학과를 졸업하고 제 1회 여성동아 장편 공모에 4.19 혁명의 역사적 순간들을 조명한  “꽃과 제물”로 대상에 당선되어 문단의 주목을 받으신 바 있습니다.  본 협회의 창립 위원 중 한 분인 안병환 박사의 아내이자 “북간도” 작가 안수길의 자부입니다.

On April 23, 2020, she went to the Lord with her 79-year-old life. Mrs. Ahn (Korean name: Young Hyun Chung, Jane Ahn’s mom) graduated from the Department of Aesthetics at Seoul National University and was selected to the Grand Prize with her novel “Flower and Sacrifice” for the 1st Dong-A Women fiction contest. She looked deeply into the historical moments of the April 19 Revolution of 1960. She is the wife of Dr. Ahn Byung Hwan, one of the founding members of the association, and the daughter-in-law of Ahn Soo Gil, the author of historical novel “Bukgando”.
