내 아이를 돌보는 마음으로 찾아가는 그룹 홈 섬김 Group Home visits

저희 협회는 매년 4월 (부활절 기념)과 11월 (추수감사절 기념)에 그리고 매달 한 번 특정 자녀의 그룹 홈을 방문하고 있습니다.

올해는 11월 20일에 각기 다른 그룹 홈에서 생활하는 8명의 카드파 자녀 회원들과 이들을 돌보는 스태프들을 위해 14명의 카드파 어머니들이 직접 준비한 감사절 디너를 전달하며 위로와 응원의 시간을 가졌습니다.

이렇게 지속적으로 그룹 홈을 방문하는 이유는 카드파의 모든 회원들이 사랑의 띠로 엮어져서 그들을 잊지 않고 응원한다는 것을 알려주고 그룹 홈 스태프들에게도 우리가 늘 주시하고 있음을 잊지 말아달라는 무언의 메세지를 보내고자 하는 것입니다.

새 해에도 이 섬김은 계속 진행될 것입니다.

KADPA visits designated group homes for our member children every April (in celebration of Easter) and every November (in celebration of Thanksgiving). We also visit a specific child who is parentless once a month.

This year, on November 20, fourteen KADPA mothers prepared and delivered Thanksgiving dinner meals for eight KADPA member children—each living in different group homes—and for the staff who care for them, and shared a time of comfort and encouragement.

The reason we continue to visit these group homes regularly is to remind the children that all members at KADPA are bound together in love for themand have not forgotten them, and to send a quiet message to the group home staff that we are always watching and supporting their work.

This service will continue into the new year as well.
